This guide walks you through how to use Apple’s Shortcuts app together with your Elite Suite setup to log data faster. If you’re already using shortcuts to streamline workflows, this will take your setup to the next level.

Make sure you're logged into the same Notion account where you have your Elite Suite before proceeding.
Create a new integration
Select the workspace where your Elite Suite is located and ensure that the Type is set to Internal. The name and logo you choose will help you in recognizing this integration when connecting to your Notion pages.
Once the integration is created, copy the Internal Integration Secret that will be used in the final step.

Depending on which shortcut you're setting up, you'll need to grant the shortcut access to the databases that it needs.
Therefore, you need to connect the pages of the required databases in your template to the integration you created earlier.
1- Find the needed database.
2- Click on the dots next to the name and then click "Open as Page"
3- Click on the three dots in the top right corner.
4- Click on Connections.
5- Search for and add the internal integration you created.

The next step is to find the database ID of your needed database in Notion.
While still having the database open as a page:
1- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and copy the page link.
2- The Database ID is the string of characters in the URL between the last "/" and "?v".
3- Copy this ID and save it somewhere with the Internal Integration Secret.

Before continuing, check that the Shortcuts app is installed on your device. If not, you can download it again from the App Store.
1- Download the shortcut you want: Elite Suite Shortcuts
2- Enter your Notion Integration Secret and Databases' IDs when prompted to complete setup.
Test out the shortcut, make sure everything is working fine.
The final step is to make the shortcut easily accessible, whether as a widget on your home screen or as a control in the Control Center.
If you’re facing an error running your shortcut, we want to reiterate that the shortcuts are specifically designed for our Templates and Elite Suite package.
Ensure that you have added access to the source database or a page that contains the source database, rather than just a linked view of a database.
The property names and types for a few key values need to match between the Notion database and the shortcut. If you have experience, you can update the shortcut side to match. (If you haven't changed property names in the templates, this should not be an issue. The shortcuts have been tested with the default templates.)
